Analysis:

The Mavericks rested Matthews, Chandler Parsons, and Dirk Nowitzki for the second game of a back-to-back set against the Rockets on Saturday, but all three players will be back in the fold for the beginning of the week. Matthews still may face some restriction over the course of the season during back-to-back scenarios, but it looks like any minutes limits for the games he does play will soon be lifted. The swingman has seen at least 30 minutes in each of his last two games, and should regularly settle close to the 33.7 per game he averaged with Portland in 2014-15.
