Analysis:

Prior to getting the surprising starting nod in Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Kaman had only appeared in one of the Blazers' first nine games, so it seemed unlikely that he'd have a long-term grip on the starting job while Meyers Leonard (shoulder) remains sidelined for the next month-plus. While he performed adequately in Friday's game (eight points, four rebounds in 24 minutes), Kaman had been behind Mason Plumlee, Davis, and Noah Vonleh on the depth chart prior to Leonard's injury, so it's difficult to expect consistent minutes from him as he moves back to the bench.
