Jazz's Gobert, Hood questionable Sunday vs. Hawks

Russ Isabella / USA TODAY Sports

After missing the services of defensive stalwart Rudy Gobert and rising sophomore Rodney Hood on Friday, the Utah Jazz may have the dynamic duo back in the lineup two days later.

Gobert and Hood have both been listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, according to The Salt Lake Tribune's Tony Jones.

The Jazz certainly could have used Gobert's lengthy reach down low against the Orlando Magic on Friday, as center Nikola Vucevic and stretch-four Tobias Harris combined for 35 points and 22 rebounds - post production that could've been curbed had Gobert been patrolling the paint.

The 7-foot-1 Frenchman is averaging 3.1 blocks this season, along with 11.9 rebounds and 8.7 points.

Hood - who's seen his playing time rise to 28.3 minutes in his second year - has been an asset for Jazz head coach Quin Snyder, averaging 12.1 points.
