Nuggets' Chandler now without timetable for return

Denver Nuggets small forward Wilson Chandler no longer has a firm timetable for his return from a hip injury, the team said Wednesday. The 28-year-old initially strained the hip in the preseason and was expected to miss approximately two weeks at the time.

"I know that they are exhausting every and all option to try to get him back," coach Michael Malone said, according to the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey. "Obviously, he's been out for a while. We miss having him. He's a big part of what we're trying to do."

Chandler has been Denver's third-leading scorer in each of the last three seasons. Last year he averaged 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on an effective field-goal percentage of 50, earning himself a four-year, $46-million extension during the offseason.
