Coach Frank Vogel said after Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers that he's optimistic Miles (ankle) will be ready to play Monday against the Magic, the Associated Press reports.

Analysis:

Miles has missed the Pacers' last three games with the injury, paving the way for Jordan Hill and Lavoy Allen to see a couple starts apiece while assuming larger minutes loads. However, with a long-term injury to Miles seemingly off the table, the swingman should soon reprise his role in the starting lineup at small forward, where he'll likely see between 25 and 30 minutes per contest. Prior to going down with the injury, Miles was averaging 12.3 points, 2.5 three-pointers, 1.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and two steals per game over four contests.
