Bogut to miss 6th straight game for Warriors

Kelley L Cox / USA TODAY Sports

Andrew Bogut will miss a sixth consecutive contest when the Golden State Warriors take on the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, as the veteran center continues to recover from a concussion sustained on opening night.

Bogut looked impressive before suffering the head injury, stuffing the stat sheet with 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in Golden State's banner-raising win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

A healthy Bogut is a key component of both the Warriors' defensive and offensive game plans, but the defending champs have looked no worse for wear without him, outscoring opponents by nearly 20 points per game through their 6-0 start.

Festus Ezeli should continue to start in Bogut's place.
