The NBA encapsulates an exceptionally diverse array of athletes, from 5-foot-9 Isaiah Thomas to 7-foot-3 Kristaps Porzingis, 19-year-old Devin Booker to 39-year-old Andre Miller.

But calculate the average height, weight, age, and service time of the 400-plus players in the league, and you get the profile of one baller in particular.

Considering the aforementioned criteria, Boston Celtics wing Evan Turner is the league's quintessential "average" player.

One wonders what Turner would think of the distinction.

Should he be less than pleased with his new moniker, he might want to consider either hitting the buffet hard or sleeping whilst hanging upside-down.
