Korver (ankle) will resume his starting position Friday against the Pelicans, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Korver has been battling with an ankle aggravation after his ankle surgery in late May, but he will take the court Friday against New Orleans, despite missing Wednesday's contest against Brooklyn. The shooting guard has started the 2015-16 season off cold as he is just one for 10 of his three-point attempts, which are usually his specialty. Look for Korver to replace Kent Bazemore or Dennis Schroder in the Hawks' starting lineup.
