Davis could enter the starting lineup at power forward for Thursday's game against the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

The normal starter at power forward, Meyers Leonard, sprained his ankle a night earlier and is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game, making it likely that Davis, the Blazers' top frontcourt reserve makes his first start of the season. Davis replaced Leonard to start the second half of Wednesday's loss to the Suns and figures to be the primary beneficiary of increased minutes Thursday, though Maurice Harkless will also remain a factor when the Blazers utilize small-ball lineups. Davis has pulled down an impressive 8.2 boards per game while averaging just 22 minutes in five contests, so if he's able to pick up around 30 minutes Thursday, a double-double could easily be attainable.
