Stoudemire out, Andersen might be in for Heat against Hawks

Amar'e Stoudemire will not play Tuesday in the Miami Heat's date with the Atlanta Hawks, while fellow big man Chris Andersen has been listed as active.

Stoudemire has played one game this season, 12 minutes in last Friday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 14-year veteran signed a one-year deal with Miami in the summer and has been dealing with a knee issue that sidelined the soon-to-be 33-year-old in the preseason.

Andersen on the other hand, hasn't played in the regular season, but will likely get run against the Hawks. "Birdman" was apparently dealing with a case of food poisoning over the past week. He has reportedly been on the trading block as the Heat look to shed salary. In his case, $5 million this season for a 37-year-old, 14-year veteran.
