Wizards' Webster inactive vs. Bucks

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Washington Wizards wing Martell Webster is inactive for the team's game versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, according to the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo.

Wizards head coach Randy Wittman had indicated prior to tipoff that Webster was available to play.

The 6-foot-7 shooter has been recovering from a partially torn labrum, and has been avoiding season-ending surgery on his troublesome right hip.

Webster missed the Wizards' season opener on Wednesday after aggravating his injury at Tuesday's practice.

The 28-year-old played in just 32 games last season.
