Nate Robinson's tenure with the New Orleans Pelicans lasted two games.

The Pelicans announced Thursday they've waived Robinson, who went scoreless in 23 minutes across a pair of games this season after signing an unguaranteed deal two weeks ago.

New Orleans is reportedly eyeing former Pelicans guard Toney Douglas, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Douglas played 12 games with the team in 2014-15 and averaged 4.3 points and two assists while shooting 37.3 percent.

The Pelicans are hurting for depth on the perimeter as Norris Cole and Tyreke Evans are sidelined with injuries. Starting point guard Jrue Holiday is also being kept to a 15-minute nightly limit until January.

The lone saving grace for their backcourt has been the play of Ish Smith, who scored 24 points, dished out 17 assists, and grabbed five steals in 67 minutes so far this season.
