Many a grey hairs have grown on the heads of coaches who have had the great displeasure of coaching Andrea Bargnani.

Brooklyn Nets' Lionel Hollins is the latest to join those ranks. In his first game coaching the enigmatic former No. 1 pick, Hollins could hardly contain his bewilderment following an airball by Bargnani.

Here's the shot: a contested, deep 3-pointer the Italian launched with 16 seconds left on the shot clock that gave the Bulls a golden two-for-one opportunity. Unsurprisingly, Bargnani's jumper barely tickled the nylon.

What a time to be alive

The perplexing thought process behind the shot forced Hollins to find reprieve buried in his palms.

Given Bargnani's nine-year history of making inexplicably poor decisions, this likely won't be the last of Hollins' sorrows. On the bright side, "Il Mago" had 17 points in a 15-point loss on opening night.
