"Rusty" is a term one could apply to the Houston Rockets after one game of the new NBA season, following a 105-85 home beatdown at the hands of the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.

Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried led the way with 23 and 18 points respectively, while rookie Emmanuel Mudiay scored 17 points and notched nine assists. Conversely, he turned the ball over 11 times, but heated up in the fourth to help put the game away.

James Harden led Houston with 22 points, but made just six of 21 shots and was 2-of-12 from 3-point range. Ty Lawson, in his Rockets debut against his old team, shot 3-of-10 with 12 points and six assists.
