Wednesday is Back to the Future Day, marking the fateful Oct. 21, 2015 date Marty McFly travels to in the 1989 movie "Back to the Future 2."

Certain things the movie predicted have sort of come to fruition, although not exactly. Hoverboards exist, but aren't mainstream. The Chicago Cubs were supposed to win the World Series over an unnamed Miami team on this day, but in reality now face a gargantuan climb just to get to the Fall Classic.

While producers missed the mark entirely with dehydrated pizza, flying cars, and an inability to predict the rise of the smartphone, the movie franchise was a favorite of many who grew up in that era, including Tony Parker.

The San Antonio Spurs point guard showed off a DeLorean on Wednesday that's customized exactly like the vehicle in the film, complete with a flux capacitor.

Parker was a client of a Dallas auto shop that rebuilds the cars to look like those in the film trilogy, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell. Prices are in the $100,000 range.
