Tyreke Evans: Has arthroscopic surgery on knee
Evans had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday morning, NBA.com reports.
Analysis:
The Pelicans have not released a timetable, and while recovery from arthroscopic surgery sometimes only takes a week or two, Evans probably won't be available for the start of the regular season Oct. 27 against Golden State. With Jrue Holiday on a 15-minute restriction and Norris Cole (ankle) likely out for a few more weeks, there should be plenty of minutes available for Nate Robinson early in the season. Eric Gordon also figures to be quite busy.
