Former NBA player Joe Smith is reaching out to the ailing Lamar Odom through song.
Odom is reportedly feeling "way, way better" since being found unresponsive at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nev.
Smith, who was Odom's Los Angeles Lakers teammate during the 2010-11 season, told TMZ Sports that he was hoping the track - titled "If I Die Tonight" - would give people hope for Lamar's recovery.
"I want (the song) to give the people some faith and motivation ... empower them," Smith said. "Give them hope that Lamar's going to be okay."
