Analysis:

Kanter suffered a mild sprained ankle during Tuesday's preseason tilt with the Mavericks and was unable to practice Wednesday. He'll likely miss a few days as he attempts to rehab the injury, but coach Billy Donovan relayed the big man's injury doesn't appear to be significant. Even if he ends up sitting Friday, it's still possible Kanter could be available for the start of the regular season.
