Analysis:

Gibson underwent offseason surgery on his left ankle, but after taking things slowly in the first couple weeks of camp, he's apparently on track to pick up a full workload when the season begins later in the month. He'll come off the bench Wednesday, and figures to serve as coach Fred Hoiberg's top reserve big man during the regular season.
