Thabo Sefolosha (leg) was acquitted of all three charges from a nightclub incident on Friday, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Sefolosha (leg) was acquitted Friday of all three misdemeanor charges he faced stemming from an incident outside of a New York nightclub in April, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

In his court appearance Wednesday, Sefolosha claimed that the New York Police Department officers were overly aggressive during the arrest, which resulted in Sefolosha breaking his right fibula and suffering ligament damage. After several testimonies reiterated Sefolosha's account of the incident, the court ruled to overturn the charges. The veteran guard is still recovering from the injuries he sustained during the arrest, but is optimistic he won't have to miss a large number of games once the regular season gets underway. Sefolosha can now put this whole legal mess behind him and focus on getting back on the court.
