Nets GM Billy King said Wednesday that the Nets' goal is to have McCullough (knee) "on the court this season," Andy Vasquez of the Bergen Record reports.

Analysis:

King didn't specify whether he's just expecting McCullough to practice at some point in 2015-16 or see action in a game, but even if the latter scenario materializes, the Nets aren't eager to give him extended minutes. After McCullough tore his ACL last January while playing for Syracuse University, the Nets elected to spent a late-first round pick on him as a stash-and-develop player. Coach Lionel Hollins has already called the season a "redshirt year" for McCullough, so at this time, the rookie's value remains relegated to dynasty formats.
