Sefolosha (leg) was in court in Manhattan on Wednesday to testify in his own defense for his April arrest, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Sefolosha spoke for just under an hour to give his account of an incident outside of a Manhattan nightclub that resulted in his arrest and three misdemeanor charges. Sefolosha alleged that the officers on the scene were violent and profane with him before pulling him down to the ground, which resulted in the veteran guard sustaining a broken right fibula and ligament damage. He's still not fully healed from those injuries, but hopes to be back on the court for the beginning of the regular season in late October.
