Analysis:

The Knicks are staging an open competition for the starting role at the four, and it appears they're leaning toward giving the 20-year-old from Latvia the first crack at showcasing his abilities. Porzingis, who briefly dealt with a sore left knee last week, has since recovered from the injury and has been quite impressive throughout camp, with associate coach Kurt Rambis already anointing the rookie as one of the team's most dangerous shooters. He'll likely battle with Kyle O'Quinn, Derrick Williams, and Kevin Seraphin for the starting role.
