Kevin Love is expected to be healthy for the Cavaliers' season opener, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Cavaliers coach David Blatt said Love (shoulder) is on track to play in the season opener Oct. 27 against the Bulls, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Love resumed participating in three-on-three drills this week in what marked his first on-court activity with his teammates since dislocating his left shoulder in the Cavs' first-round playoff matchup with the Celtics last season. The power forward will be held out of the Cavs' first two preseason games, but Blatt said Love will be able to take part in full practices by the weekend. Once that happens, Love will likely see some action in exhibition play as he prepares for duty as LeBron James' top sidekick to begin the season, with Kyrie Irving (knee) looking unlikely to be available in the early going.
