Gerald Green already looks comfortable in South Beach.

The former Slam Dunk contest champion opened his Miami Heat career exactly as expected Sunday, throwing down an effortless windmill dunk in transition.

One of the greatest things about Green's dunks are the ease with which they appear to occur. Tough to appreciate in highlights, with his shoeless standing dunk a perfect example, Green's aerial majesty is a thing of wonder. This is a 29-year-old man, head at the rim, windmilling effortlessly.

Signed to a one-year deal this summer, Green appears set to come off the bench for the Heat. He did that Sunday, scoring 12 points and grabbing five rebounds in 19 reserve minutes.
