"NBA Live 16" keeps reminding us that it is not perfect.

First botched player avatars had the Internet in an uproar and then a glitch had Kevin Love shooting anywhere but at the hoop.

Now the game has released its top player ratings and they include some obvious choices, but in an interesting order.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James comes in No. 1 at 97, with the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant sitting at second by just a one-point deficit.

But Stephen Curry - the reigning league MVP - is in a four-way tie with LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMarcus Cousins, and Russell Westbrook, all at 94.

Here is the list, courtesy of Sports Nation

  • 1. LeBron James – 97
  • 2. Kevin Durant – 96
  • T-3. Anthony Davis – 95
  • T-3. Marc Gasol – 95
  • T-3. Blake Griffin – 95
  • T-3. James Harden – 95
  • T-3. Chris Paul – 95
  • T-8. LaMarcus Aldridge – 94
  • T-8. DeMarcus Cousins – 94
  • T-8. Stephen Curry – 94
  • T-8. Russell Westbrook – 94

Interesting. Very interesting.
