Analysis:

Reed's injury setback doesn't sound particularly severe at this juncture, but it could still prevent him from suiting up in the Nets' preseason opener on Monday, when they'll match up with Turkish squad Fenerbahce Ulker. The 6-foot-9 forward, who was a first-team All-D-League selection in 2014-15, will need to shake off the injury quickly if he hopes to secure a spot on the Nets' roster out of training camp.
