Iman Shumpert: (Wrist) Out 12-14 weeks

Shumpert suffered a wrist injury recently and is expected to remain out 12-to-14 weeks, Fred McLeod of Cavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert ruptured the Extensor Carpi Ulnaris sheath in his right wrist during a recent workout, and he'll have surgery Wednesday to repair the damage. The loss of Shumpert is obviously a huge blow for Cleveland, which will likely be without Kyrie Irving for at least the first month or two of the season. In his absence, J.R. Smith will likely take over as the starting shooting guard, and Matthew Dellavedova could stand to see a mild minutes boost as well.
