Analysis:

Durant has underwent three foot procedures in the last calendar year, which conspired to limit him to a career-low 27 games in 2014-15. The former MVP most recently went under the knife in late March for a bone graft operation, the standard procedure for correcting a previously unsuccessful Jones fracture surgery. Historically, bone graft surgery has shown to help a foot's stability over time with no significant limitations on a player's ability, so the Thunder clearly seem optimistic Durant can resume playing at an elite level right away. If that's indeed the case, Durant could be worthy of a No. 1 overall fantasy selection, though the risk averse may feel comfortable constructing their roster on some of the game's other star talents.
