Crowder (knee) said last week that he's 100 percent recovered from the left ACL sprain he suffered in the playoffs, Scott Souza of the MetroWest Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Though he found increased opportunities upon being traded to Boston last December in the Rajon Rondo deal, Crowder still struggled with his new team, averaging 9.5 pounds on 41.8 percent shooting. With Crowder's injury not viewed as much of a concern, the Celtics opted to retain him on a five-year contract in the offseason, but that's no guarantee he'll see 25 minutes per night again this season. The Celtics added David Lee and Perry Jones to the frontcourt mix in the offseason and still have Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, Jared Sullinger, and Kelly Olynyk in their forward ranks, which should make the fight for playing time highly competitive.
