Irving (knee) remains without a firm return timetable, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon-Journal reports.

Analysis:

Speaking to the media at Monday's media day, Irving said he's been running for the past three weeks but will not be cleared to participate in two-a-day practices during camp. Irving said he doesn't plan to take any days off, however, as he works toward what will likely be a December or January return. Veteran free-agent signee Mo Williams will likely start at point guard and see the bulk of the minutes so long as Irving remains out. Matthew Dellavedova will serve as Williams' backup, with LeBron James, of course, assuming ball-handling duties in certain situations.
