Utah Jazz power forward Trevor Booker underwent surgery to fix a broken nose Thursday, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Booker sustained the injury while playing pickup basketball and isn't expected to miss any part of training camp, which begins Sept. 28.

Booker signed a two-year, $10-million contract last summer in Utah where he serves as a scrappy third big off the bench, averaging 7.2 points and five rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game.
