Report: Eric Moreland fielding training camp offers from Pistons, Lakers, Kings

Several teams are interested in signing 6-foot-10 forward Eric Moreland to a training camp deal, as the 23-year-old is fielding offers from the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, and Sacramento Kings, according to Real GM's Shams Charania.

The Pistons are reportedly the front-runners to sign Moreland, but team officials for both the Lakers and Kings expect him to hold out on making a decision until the final offers have been issued.

Moreland has just two minutes of NBA regular-season experience on his resume, having made three appearances for the Sacramento Kings in 2014-15. The team signed him on July 30 of last year, sending him down to the D-League for a run with the Reno Bighorns, where he averaged 13.7 points and 12.7 boards in seven games.

He was ruled out for the remainder of the season on Jan. 1 with a labral tear in his left shoulder. The Kings waived him on July 29.

Moreland returned to competition during summer league for Sacramento, averaging 6.4 points and eight rebounds over five outings.
