Will Cherry is heading to Germany to sign with Alba Berlin, Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears reports.

The report was confirmed by Eurobasket's David Pick.

Cherry, 24, went undrafted in 2013 after putting together averages of 12.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.3 steals in his four-year college career at Montana.

The two-time Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year earned a spot on the Canton Charge - the Cleveland Cavaliers' D-League affiliate - and was called up by the Cavs in early November 2014.

He appeared in eight games for the Cavs, amassing totals of 15 points, five boards, eight assists and six steals in 69 minutes of play. He was waived by the team in late November.

Cherry was a member of the Becky Hammon-led San Antonio Spurs squad that won the Las Vegas Summer League championship in July.
