Report: 3 teams still interested in Ryan Hollins

A poor performance for the United States at the Pan-Am Games has not deterred suitors from kicking the tires on 7-footer Ryan Hollins.

The Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Clippers have all expressed interest in the 30-year-old, according to a report from Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports. Spears reported in mid-July that the Dallas Mavericks were also looking at Hollins, but they've since gone several alternate routes at the pivot.

Sacramento and L.A. already have 14 guaranteed contracts on their rosters, while the Wizards have a full 15, so Hollins may need to play his way onto a team in training camp.

A second-round pick out of UCLA in 2006, Hollins spent last season with the Kings, averaging three points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.6 minutes across 46 appearances. He also shot 64.6 percent from the floor to push his career shooting percentage to a robust 58.1 percent, but his limited utility outside of dunking and occasional shot-blocking has rendered him a depth piece for most of his nine-year career.

One of the few known NBA commodities to play for the U.S. at the Pan-Am Games this summer, Hollins averaged just 14.3 minutes and shot 40 percent from the floor.
