Irving (knee) could have his playing time reduced during the regular season, Terry Pluto of the Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Irving suffered a fractured knee cap during the Finals and underwent surgery early in June. Failing to dip below 34 minutes per game over the last three seasons, it appears as though the Cavs will be cautious with the oft-injured Irving, who played a career-high 75 games last season. The addition of Mo Williams can help alleviate Irving's workload, but the newly-signed guard hasn't been the beacon of health either, playing at least 70 games just once over the past six seasons.
