The French national team isn't taking qualifying for the 2016 Olympics lightly.

EuroBasket 2015 is still more than two weeks away, but France has already played in seven exhibitions to prepare. With the EuroBasket region being incredibly competitive and only two tickets being punched for the Rio Games next summer - plus an additional four spots in the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament - the No. 4-ranked team preparing so earnestly makes sense.

On Friday, it was Georgia opposite the French, with France rolling to a 95-53 victory that included fine performances from several NBA notables. Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier, Alexis Ajinca, Tony Parker, and Nicolas Batum were among eight French players scoring in double-figures, with Parker and Batum hooking up for a terrific alley-oop in the opening frame.

With a loaded roster and plenty of experience at the international level, France can be considered one of the three favorites to emerge from EuroBasket with one of the two Olympic berths, alongside Spain and Lithuania.
