The Los Angeles Clippers waived forward Jordan Hamilton, the team announced Saturday.

Hamilton was originally signed to two 10-day contracts, then kept for the remainder of last season. He only played in 14 games, making two starts and averaging 2.7 points in 8.7 minutes. It's a deeper, new-look bench for the Clippers with the additions of Lance Stephenson and Josh Smith this summer, and Hamilton was an odd man out.

The Los Angeles native was a first-round pick of the Dallas Mavericks in 2011, and has played for four teams in four seasons.
