Indiana Pacers power forward Jordan Hill was arrested for alleged reckless driving in Atlanta, the team announced Friday.

"We have been informed Jordan was arrested for allegedly reckless driving in Atlanta, Georgia," Pacers president Larry Bird said in a statement. "It is obvious we don't condone this. We will address this with Jordan. This is a major concern of safety, not just for Jordan, but for others."

Hill was arrested for allegedly driving 107 mph on State Route 400 in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta on Tuesday, according to WSB-TV. Hill explained to the arresting officer that he was "in a hurry," according to the Associated Press.

Hill officially signed with the Pacers two weeks ago on a reported one-year, $5-million contract. He played the last three-plus years with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 12 points and just under eight rebounds per game last season.
