The Milwaukee Bucks have officially signed forward Chris Copeland, the team announced Wednesday.

Terms were not released, but Copeland will reportedly earn $1.1 million on a one-year deal.

After breaking out as a 28-year-old rookie with the New York Knicks, Copeland went on to post two uninspiring seasons with the Indiana Pacers, averaging 5.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13.3 minutes.

Copeland's time with the Pacers ended last season after he was stabbed outside a New York City nightclub. Copeland mentioned he's now "OK," but declined to comment further on the incident.

Copeland explained last week that the Bucks' biggest draw was head coach Jason Kidd as the two played together in New York, and Copeland called him a "great mentor."

The 31-year-old Copeland reportedly drew interest from the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers, and Washington Wizards this offseason.
