VIDEO: Warriors post 'Thank-you' video for outgoing David Lee

For the Golden State Warriors, it's all about #FullSquad.

Even though he became the forgotten $15-million dollar man, the Warriors appear to be genuinely saddened by David Lee's trade to the Boston Celtics.

Lee was once a double-double machine for the Warriors in leaner years and later became a bench cog in their championship run. A coaching change, Draymond Green's emergence, and various injuries robbed Lee of his starting role, but he was appreciated nonetheless.

With Lee officially being traded Monday, the Warriors posted a thank-you video in his honor.

It's a fitting tribute for Lee after he gave five dutiful seasons to the Warriors. He represented the city as their lone All-Star in 2013 and stayed quiet - the consummate professional - as he fell out of the rotation despite being their highest-paid player.

There was no shortage of support from Lee's former teammates, either, when the trade was announced.

Trading Lee brought back Gerald Wallace and Chris Babb from the Celtics. The deal was likely financially motivated, as the Warriors' salary figure is well over the luxury tax line.
