The Phoenix Suns continued their offseason of heavy change at the fringes of their rotation, announcing three signings Friday.

The Suns introduced Mirza Teletovic, Sonny Weems, and Ronnie Price through a press release, fortifying their second unit after losing several potential rotation pieces in an attempt to clear cap space to chase LaMarcus Aldridge.

Out are Marcus Morris, Reggie Bullock, and Danny Granger, making a combined $8.4 million, replaced by the new trio at a shade under $10 million. It may not have been Phoenix's Plan A with the cap space, but it's hardly a poor use of it, given the players they were able to land.

Teletovic is the jewel here, upgrading on Morris with a reported one-year, $5.5-million contract. That's solid value for a stretch-four who's knocked down 36.2 percent of his career 3-point attempts, and who can provide competent interior defense when called upon to guard more traditional power forwards.

"Mirza is one of the best shooting big men in the world and we think his skillset will be a great fit for our style of play," general manager Ryan McDonough said in the release.

Joining Teletovic is Weems, who returns from a four-year stint overseas with a reported two-year, $5.8-million contract.

Weems, the No. 39 overall pick in the 2008 draft, had a forgettable rookie season in Denver before landing with the Toronto Raptors by way of the Milwaukee Bucks, unexpectedly carving out a rotation role for a middling Raptors team, then a larger role on a rebuilding team.

In 140 NBA games, the 6-foot-6 Arkansas product averaged 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, shooting 47.4 percent from the floor and 24.1 percent on threes.

Price has reportedly signed for one year at the $1.5-million veteran minimum and brings experience and veteran leadership to the third point-guard role.
