Report: Bucks among several teams interested in Chris Copeland

The NBA offseason has officially reached the Chris Copeland rumors portion, which is to say, the free-agent bin is starting to thin out.
The Milwaukee Bucks are one of several teams kicking the tires on the veteran floor-stretcher, according to Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times. Earlier reports suggested the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers had also made overtures, and the Washington Wizards were believed to have interest early in free agency.
Copeland's draw is easy to understand. The 31-year-old can man either forward position, help with ball-handling on the wing, and space the floor with his 37.3 percent career 3-point mark. He could also come cheap, coming off a 2014-15 season that saw him struggle with his outside stroke to the tune of 31.1 percent shooting from long range.
Undrafted out of Colorado, Copeland didn't fight his way into the league until age 28, leveraging a strong summer league performance in 2012 into a deal with the New York Knicks. He signed a two-year, $6.1-million deal with the Indiana Pacers in 2013, but the Pacers renounced his rights earlier this month, making him an unrestricted free agent and forgoing the chance to match any offer sheet he signed.
In 147 games over three seasons, Copeland has averaged 6.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 13.3 minutes.
