Everyone wants a piece of power forward Kevin Seraphin, it seems.

With the free-agent pool slowly drying up, unheralded players like Seraphin are getting more attention from teams scrambling to fill holes in their rotation.

The Dallas Mavericks are now throwing their hat in the mix to acquire the 25-year-old's services, reports Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears.

The three-ring circus which was the DeAndre Jordan negotiations leaves the Mavericks looking to shore up depth in their frontcourt. Starting center Tyson Chandler recently signed on with the Phoenix Suns, which forced Dallas to make a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks to land veteran Zaza Pachulia.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, and San Antonio Spurs are also reportedly interested in signing Seraphin, who was drafted 17th overall by the Chicago Bulls in 2010.

Seraphin never suited up for the Bulls, though, as he was traded to the Wizards just weeks later.

In 326 career games with Washington, Seraphin has averaged 6.4 points on 49.1 percent shooting, including 3.7 rebounds with a PER of 12. Playing alongside Nene, Marcin Gortat, Kris Humphries, and Drew Gooden hindered his ability to consistently receive minutes in Randy Wittman's rotation, as Washington's coach simply had too many mouths to feed and not enough room to keep all five of his frontcourt players satisfied.

Seraphin is looking to join a squad where he'll have a realistic chance to start. Dirk Nowitzki has the starting 4 spot locked up, but if playing more minutes at center is something he desires, Seraphin can always compete with Pachulia to snag that gig.
