Barton has agreed to a deal with the Nuggets worth $11 million over the next three years, David Aldridge of NBA.com reports.

Analysis:

Barton began last season in Portland but was traded in mid-February to the Nuggets as part of the Arron Afflalo deal. After 58 total appearances last season, the former Memphis Tiger averaged just under 17 minutes on the court and seems to be in store for a similar role off the bench during the upcoming campaign. Barton will be competing with veteran Randy Foye and 20-year-old Gary Harris for time on the court, with Foye having a slight edge in terms of value.
