Enes Kanter: Will Sign Offer Sheet With Blazers

Kanter (knee) will sign a four-year, $70 million offer sheet with the Blazers on Thursday, NBA.com reports.

Analysis:

The development marks the second time in four offseasons that Blazers general manager Neil Olshey attempts to swipe a center from another organization (also, Roy Hibbert of the Pacers in 2012). The Thunder likely can't stand to take the hit to their froncourt, but they'll have three days in order to decide whether it's worth the hit to the bottom line. After joining the Thunder in mid-February, he picked up the scoring burden left behind by a decimated squad, averaging 18.7 points (on 57 percent shooting), 11.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 31 minutes.
