There's still a market for Kendrick Perkins.

After reportedly drawing interest from the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, or most comically, the New York Knicks, it appears Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers wants to bring Perkins into the fold.

Rivers coached Perkins with the Boston Celtics from 2004-11. Rivers already landed one former Celt in Paul Pierce on Wednesday, although it's tough to figure out why the coach would want to use a roster spot on Perkins for any reason other than a personal one - especially when another report Wednesday suggested Rivers has reached out to unrestricted free agent Glen Davis.

The Clippers' main priority remains DeAndre Jordan. After that, they can worry themselves about benchwarmers who don't deserve playing time - on a team with an already thin bench.
