One week after opting out of the final year of his contract, Ed Davis is contemplating a return to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite making the decision to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, the 6-foot-10 defensive big man prefers to return to L.A.

It seems that Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak would also like to see Davis rejoin the purple and gold.

Davis, a five-year veteran, posted career highs in scoring (8.3 points), field goal percentage (60.1), rebounding (7.6), blocked shots (1.2), and assists (1.2) in 2014-15.
