The Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs are in the market for grizzly veteran contributors.

One such veteran is Tayshaun Prince, who fielded calls from both championship hopefuls following the start of free agency, reports Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com and ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. The 35-year-old Prince spent last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, and Detroit Pistons.

Despite his advanced age, Prince could still conceivably contribute for a veteran team with championship aspirations in limited minutes. He is no longer the hyper-athletic stickbug that famously chased down Reggie Miller on the fast break, but he can still adequately defend his position and shoot from deep.

Prince averaged 7.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists on 46.3 percent shooting from deep last season. He will likely command no more than a minimum deal, especially considering the Spurs and Cavaliers will both be battling the salary cap.
