Hinrich has exercised his $2.8 million player option to remain with the Bulls next season, RealGM.com reports.

Analysis:

Hinrich will play out the two-year deal he signed with the Bulls last summer. He's coming off a sub-par season in which he posted career-lows in points (5.7), rebounds (1.8), and assists (2.2) per game. Clearly toward the latter stages of his career, Hinrich offers veteran depth for Chicago, but his days of being a real impact player in fantasy circles appear to have passed.
